But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, KJV).
Weary?
Don't Give Up!
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Galatians 6:9, KJV)
Suddenly, I start getting frustrated or discouraged, distracted, then fixated on the chaos I’ve created, which eventually ensnares me from concentrating on the things of God. On occasion, I may feel spiritually inferior and mentally drained. Still, I’m staying the course because this reminds me that our feelings do not alienate us. These burdens are not ours alone to bear in (Galatians 6:9, KJV). Paul used the word “weary” to define what I mentioned, and he encourages us not to give up.
So, if you find yourself in a similar situation where you’re losing your patience, tired of waiting, or mentally exhausted, remember, don’t give up. Jesus has promised us that we will be saved if we endure the end (Matthew 24:13, KJV). If you want the reassurance of the faith needed to endure and not give up — or assurance of your salvation — call on Jesus first (Romans 10:9, KJV), then press the contact button. I would love to pray with you.
Hurting?
Trust GOD!
He healeth the broken hearted in heart, and bindeth up their wounds (Psalm 147:3, KJV).
I’ve read it’s impossible to go through life without hurting someone or being hurt. I’m ashamed to admit; there were times I’ve hurt people unaware. In the past, I’ve intentionally been at fault if I felt betrayed, mistreated, or someone upset me. Because I wanted immediate justice I responded with aggression.
I’ve learned through God’s Word that harmful behavior comes from inherited pain. My outward manifestation of aggressive justice was wrong, but I considered it to be a suitable coping mechanism for self-defense. According to Romans 12:19, (KJV), GOD insists on avenging those who hurt us. Being hurt by someone is never a victim’s transgression; instead of retaliating, GOD wants us:
- To trust Him (Proverbs 3:5, KJV)
- To be healed (Psalms 147:3, KJV)
- To fulfill His plan and a purpose for our lives (Romans 8:28, KJV).
- To forgive ourselves and those who hurt us, knowing that He loves them as much as He loves us. He wants them to have the same opportunity to be forgiven and to be healed as He has provided for you and me (Matthew 6:14, John 3:16, Colossians 3:13, KJV).
My chosen name, Manasseh, means God has made me forget troubles and my father’s house entirely. This doesn’t mean He has erased my memory. But, since I came to trust Him, that painful past no longer prohibits my powerful purpose. I have forgiven, but God causes me to forget how it made me feel. The Lord has a plan for us that requires trusting Him to do in us what we are powerless to do for ourselves (Romans 5:6, KJV). Even though changing your name isn’t necessary, a change of heart is; will you trust Jesus? Press the contact button. I would love to pray with you.
Oppressed?
Submit to GOD!
Submit yourselves, therefore, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7, KJV).
Working in management comprises a unique set of challenges, and one of these demands is employee conflict. I started working in a male-dominated environment as an aggressive female, like throwing grease on fire. Almost every change made or decision implemented was met with opposition. One male employee attracted the most attention by slandering my competency and falsely discrediting me constantly. This discouraged other employees and the disunity essentially led to a hostile environment. The conflict continued until he was offered a different position within another agency. The fact that I engaged in and was constantly in the battle showed my lack of submission to God. Because people are a distraction, not the root of the problem.
I regret not approaching the working relationship differently; perhaps the outcome may have been more inspiring. But on the other hand, I learned some meaningful lessons during those tough times.
While studying (Ephesians 6:12-18, KJV), it became apparent that the strife wasn’t with the employee; it was with the invisible enemy who wanted nothing more than to overburden me with issues robbing me of peace.
To be victorious in these circumstances, Paul writes, put on the whole armor of God, stand, and remain prayerful (Ephesians 6:11-18, KJV). Furthermore, James 4: 7-10 (KJV) adds when we submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. My despair resulted from “taking a fist to a gunfight” by not properly preparing myself. If oppression or conflict hinders you, consider spiritual reinforcement and submit to God. Press the contact button. I would love to pray with you.

Born-Again Believer’s
“If you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that JESUS is LORD [recognizing HIS power, authority, and majesty as GOD], and believe in your heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, a person believes [in CHRIST as SAVIOUR] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to GOD]. With the mouth, he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation (Romans 10:9-10, AMP).”
It’s by GOD’S grace that we have the privilege to be called the children of GOD. We receive salvation through faith. It was not our plan or our effort. It is God’s gift, pure and simple. We didn’t earn it; not one of us did, so we can’t go around bragging that we must have done something exceptional (Ephesians 2:8-9, VOICE).
Once we accept that what GOD says is true, believe that HE’S going to do what HE said HE’S going to do, and confess that JESUS CHRIST is THE SON of GOD; we’re born-again. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, we would love to hear from you. We want to answer any questions you may have or pray with you. Please go to the contact page and complete the form.
Peter said to them, “Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow JESUS as the MESSIAH] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of JESUS CHRIST because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT (Acts 2:38 AMP).
Being baptized is an act of obedience, and it’s a public display of our changed life. Baptism to salvation is like a wedding to a relationship. It’s a ceremonial public expression of submission; CHRIST is now the HEAD of our life. According to Romans 6:4 MSG, baptism into the life of Jesus means. Being lowered is compared to the burial of JESUS; when we’re lifted out of the water, it is like the resurrection of JESUS. JESUS was baptized, and HE commissioned HIS disciples to baptize other believers. Therefore, we’re baptized because of forgiveness, receive the gift of THE HOLY SPIRIT, bury our past, and ascend to a new life with CHRIST JESUS.
If you were recently baptized or considering doing so, we would love to hear from you. Just visit our contact page and complete the form. GOD Bless!
